Volunteer with us

Are you an artist or do you have some artistic flair? Do you knit, sew, sculpt, draw, paint or print? If the answer is 'yes' to any of these, or if you have another creative talent you would like to share, then come along and Take Part in our fun and creative arts and craft sessions!

Volunteers are needed to share their skills to enable others to express themselves through a wide variety of creative mediums.

You don't need to be an expert, or have a specific qualification. Just knowing an artistic skill and having the enthusiasm to share this with others is all that we require! So come on... Take Part!

Would you like the opportunity to draw, paint, sculpt, sew and learn a wide variety of other creative arts and crafts?
Then why not.. Take Part!

Take Part is a creative arts group in Keighley.

We especially welcome people with learning or physical disabilities and/or mental health issues to join our friendly group.

What we do

Take Part enables you to learn new skills, develop your confidence, explore your creativity and show off your artistic flair.

We provide a safe, welcomingand positive environment for all members.

We support each person to express their individuality in as many different mediums as they choose!

Our 'kind 'arted' approach means that where possible, we re-cycle and re-use our materials to reduce the use of natural resources and to minimize our the impact on the environment.

How we do it

We meet with you to discuss your wants, needs and aspirations and then agree your individual support plan.

On your first day we link you to a volunteer buddy who will help you settle into the group.

We also work in one to one situations so you can learn at your own pace.

We make sure that everyone gets the chance to show their creativity and talents at our regular exhibitions and during community events.
