Volunteer with us

Do you play an instrument? Can you sing or dance? Or do you just enjoy trying? If the answer is ‘yes’ then come along and join the groove train on a fun and creative journey! Volunteers are needed to share their talents to enable others to express themselves through music and dance.
You don’t need to be an expert, or be able to read music. Just knowing a few chords or melodies, having a bit of rhythm and a lot of energy are all that we require!
In return, you will be part of this vibrant and exciting group. Travel expenses will be reimbursed and on-going support will also be provided.

How we do it

We meet with you to discuss your wants, needs and aspirations and then agree your individual support plan.

On your first day we link you to a music mentor who will help you settle into the group. We also work in one to one situations so you can learn at your own pace in your own way.

We make sure that everyone gets the chance to shine and show their talents at our regular group performances.

What we do

The groove train enables you to learn new skills, develop your confidence, explore your creativity and show off your talents.
We provide a safe, welcoming and positive environment for all members.
We support each person to express their individuality in any way they choose, be it through music, dance, singing or a bit of everything
